They are suspected of inducing prospective residents without membership qualifications or members to deposit up to 80 million won into a past association promotion committee account instead of the designated account, thereby embezzling the money.
They are accused of committing duplicate sales fraud involving up to four units per household targeting prospective residents.
It is known that more than 120 victims have filed complaints claiming to have suffered from duplicate sales fraud, with the total damage amounting to approximately 7.6 billion won.
