Lotte Department Store Gwangju Joins 'Love Blood Donation Campaign'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Lotte Department Store Gwangju Branch (Manager Na Yeon) announced on the 24th that it has launched a ‘Love Blood Donation Campaign’ for the local community due to difficulties in blood supply caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
This blood donation campaign was conducted to voluntarily encourage participation in blood donation and to spread the culture of blood donation through the campaign, as the number of donors sharply decreased due to the spread and prolongation of social distancing culture caused by COVID-19, resulting in an emergency in blood supply.
Blood donation took place on the blood donation bus set up at the main entrance of Lotte Department Store Gwangju Branch.
About 50 employees from the company and partner companies participated in the blood donation. The collected blood donation certificates will be donated to the Gwangju Jeonnam Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross to practice sharing.
