Jeonju Museum of Art, 'There is Light' Media Art 'Special Exhibition'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] Jeonju Museum of Art in Jeonbuk announced on the 24th that it will hold the media art exhibition ‘There is Light’ from next month 8th to September 30th, and will conduct the exhibition-linked program ‘Jeonju Museum of Art Art Lab’ during the exhibition period.
‘There is Light’ is an exhibition prepared together with artist Jeong Hye-ji, selecting six pieces from the Jeonju Museum of Art’s collection and producing them as media art.
The six works include Kangam Song Seong-yong’s ‘Mokjukdo’, Gahye Lee Bang-ja’s ‘Pungsokdo’, and an anonymous artist’s ‘Sinsendo’ among others.
The exhibition-linked program ‘Jeonju Museum of Art Art Lab’ will offer an experience of the zoetrope, the precursor of film, along with blueprints. The program is scheduled for 2 p.m. on July 10th and will be available only to applicants due to COVID-19.
