Gangnam-gu Yeoksam-ro Startup Street Hosts 'Youth Public Art Project'
16 Youth Artworks Displayed on Streetlight Banners Until July 19... 'Sebrin Asu' Artwork on Temporary Fence
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) is hosting the ‘Youth Public Art Project’ until July 19 to revitalize the Yeoksam-ro startup street area, which has been depressed due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
This project is in collaboration with ‘Pinzle,’ the world’s first startup to regularly deliver paintings. ‘Pinzle’ holds licenses for over 300 artworks by overseas artists, and through this project, it will display artworks and information panels by 16 young and original overseas artists on the streetlight banners of the startup street.
Additionally, Gangnam-gu will exhibit works by French illustrator ‘Sabrina Assouline’ on the temporary fence of the ‘Maru180’ startup support center of the Asan Nanum Foundation, which is currently under remodeling, to comfort residents weary from COVID blues.
