Bank of Korea Holds Currency Love UCC Contest
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Eunbyeol] The Bank of Korea announced on the 24th that it will hold the 'Love for Currency UCC Contest' for teenagers to raise awareness about the production and use of counterfeit currency and to promote the importance of proper currency usage habits.
First held in 2014, this contest is now in its 7th year. Participants can choose a theme from preventing the circulation of counterfeit currency, using money cleanly, reusing coins, or guaranteeing the choice of cash usage, and create videos or webtoons to submit. This year, the webtoon category has been newly added.

The Bank of Korea will select outstanding works among the submissions and award prizes under the name of the Governor. The winning entries will be posted on the Bank of Korea's website. The submission period is from the 29th of this month to August 28th, lasting two months.
