Seoul Bike 'Ddareungi' Opens at Garak Market
Promoting Convenience Improvement for Garak Market Users and Nearby Residents
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation (President Kim Kyung-ho) has launched Seoul Bike 'Ddareungi' at Garak Market to improve traffic congestion and fine dust issues and to enhance the convenience of visitors using Garak Market.
The Ddareungi bikes, launched on the 22nd, were installed with 10 bikes each in front of the Garak Mall office building and the Eco-friendly Distribution Center, totaling 20 bikes.
By introducing Ddareungi at Garak Market, where about 20,000 vehicles enter and exit daily, it is expected to encourage the use of bicycles instead of vehicles by Garak Market users and nearby residents, thereby improving problems such as fine dust caused by vehicle use.
In particular, it has improved the inconvenience of using Garak Market by providing an alternative means of transportation to visitors and tenants who avoid public transportation due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
