Chong Kun Dang Employees Participate in Walking Campaign to Support Single-Parent and Grandparent-Headed Families
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] Chong Kun Dang Holdings announced on the 23rd that it will conduct a non-face-to-face social contribution activity called the ‘GiveON Walking Campaign’ to help vulnerable families experiencing economic difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
This campaign will be conducted for one month until the 21st of next month through a mobile application in collaboration with the social enterprise BigWalk. Employees install the BigWalk application on their smartphones, which records the number of steps taken, and the accumulated steps are donated.
The donations raised through the campaign will be delivered to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation. The donations will be used as emergency living expenses for single-parent families and grandparent-headed families facing economic difficulties.
