Under the theme of "Operation Rescue Hong Gamja," the event held at Jindo Farmer Farm in Songsan-ri, Gunnae-myeon, included experiences such as harvesting Hong Gamja, making rainbow bibimbap, and preparing Hong Gamja salad.
Jindo Farmer Farm cultivates seasonal organic agricultural products such as Hong Gamja, chili peppers, and napa cabbage so that consumers can eat with confidence.
In particular, they produce sesame oil, perilla oil, and red pepper powder using the crops they grow themselves and sell them both online and offline.
Participants in the event said, "Seeing it with our own eyes on site and experiencing the harvest with our children made us trust the agricultural products."
An official from the Jindo-gun Agricultural Technology Center said, "We plan to continue various events that naturally promote producers and increase trust in Jindo-gun agricultural products by holding experience events inviting urban consumers."
