[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Lotte ON, the sales channel for Lotte Duty Free's duty-free inventory, resolved early access issues on the first day of sales on the 23rd and resumed normal sales. A total of 9 overseas luxury brands were unveiled on this day.
A Lotte Shopping official operating Lotte ON explained, "There was an access problem due to login errors immediately after sales started at 10 a.m., but it was soon resolved," adding, "Normal access is now possible."
As of 10:49 a.m. on the same day, the duty-free inventory shopping screen is operating normally on both the mobile application (app) and the online mall.
Starting from 10 a.m. on this day, Lotte ON is selling inventory from about 50 overseas luxury brands from Lotte Duty Free. The event is held under the theme "Mind Quarantine Luxury Sale," offering duty-free products at prices up to about 60% cheaper than market prices.
The 9 brands unveiled on this day are ▲Chloe ▲Salvatore Ferragamo ▲Alexander McQueen ▲Givenchy ▲Tod's ▲Valentino ▲Bally ▲Tory Burch ▲Fendi. The products include accessories such as bags, shoes, wallets, and belts.
The luxury inventory sold on Lotte ON from Lotte Duty Free consists of genuine products directly imported by Lotte Duty Free. Since Lotte Duty Free handles the customs clearance process and delivery, the products have the advantages of reliability and convenience.
The total value of products sold sequentially through Lotte ON amounts to 10 billion KRW. Additionally, Lotte Duty Free plans to donate 0.5% of the sales amount from Lotte ON to medical staff working hard to overcome the COVID-19 crisis.
