Jang Geon, Standing Committee Member of the National Unification Advisory Council, Appointed Chairman of Korea Ceramic Foundation
[Asia Economy (Gwangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Jang Geon, Standing Committee Member of the National Unification Advisory Council, was appointed as the Chairman of the Korea Ceramic Foundation on the 23rd.
The Chairman of the Korea Ceramic Foundation is appointed through a public recruitment process by the Executive Recommendation Committee. Serving in a non-executive capacity, the chairman advises on foundation policies alongside the foundation's board of directors. The term lasts until June 11, 2022.
Chairman Jang previously served as Deputy Director (Student Affairs and Graduate School) at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and as President of the National Federation of Cooperatives. He is currently active as a Standing Committee Member of the National Unification Advisory Council, President of the Korea Regional Foundation Council, and Chairman of the Seongnam Irowoon Foundation.
