Dong-A ST Signs Agreement with Medical Support Foundation to Provide Medication Cost Assistance for Low-Income Cancer Patients
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] Dong-A ST announced on the 22nd that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Medical Support Foundation to provide financial support for medication costs to low-income cancer patients.
Under this agreement, Dong-A ST will support the medication costs of cancer patients through the Korea Medical Support Foundation. When patients apply to the Korea Medical Support Foundation through their primary care physicians, the foundation reviews the application and then provides the medication costs.
The nonprofit public interest organization, Korea Medical Support Foundation, operates medical support projects aimed at eliminating blind spots in healthcare and contributing to the promotion of public health using donations from citizens and companies without government support.
