BTS's 'Love Myself' Named UNICEF's Best Campaign
BTS and Big Hit Entertainment's campaign ‘LOVE MYSELF’ received the Best Campaign Award at the UNICEF Inspire Awards. According to the UNICEF Korea Committee on the 22nd, this campaign scored the highest in the Integrated Campaigns and Events category.
The Inspire Awards is an event hosted by UNICEF headquarters to recognize the campaigns that had the greatest impact over the year. The winning campaigns are decided through online voting by UNICEF staff and evaluation by a judging panel. The Integrated Campaigns and Events category, won by BTS, reviews the impact across multiple fields such as child rights promotion, fundraising, and publicity.
‘LOVE MYSELF’ is a campaign to eradicate violence against children and adolescents. BTS promoted the message “Love for myself is the true beginning of love” and supported the operation of promotional booths in countries where their world tour was held, including the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and Thailand. They raised awareness about the reality of violence against children and adolescents and shared the value of true love. UNICEF Korea Committee Secretary General Lee Ki-chul said, “The message that loving oneself can be the beginning of love for others has comforted and encouraged many people, bringing about positive change.”
