LG Uplus Launches 'U+ Video Conference' to Support Remote and Telecommuting Work
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Uplus will launch the 'U+ Video Conference' service, useful for corporate clients who need telecommuting or remote work, on the 22nd.
U+ Video Conference is a service that allows real-time video meetings using PC or smartphone applications without the need for separate infrastructure setup. It supports up to 1,000 simultaneous connections and includes features such as meeting recording and storage, whiteboard annotation, file and video sharing, and easy meeting invitations using internet URLs.
In response to the growing importance of online lectures due to recent social influences, LG Uplus is also introducing an educational version for universities. Universities can easily integrate existing student information, attendance data, and lecture information, and conduct real-time video-based online lectures without operating separate infrastructure.
To commemorate the new launch, free usage and discount benefits are also offered. Customers who newly subscribe to U+ Video Conference by August 31 can use the service free of charge for three months and receive up to a 30% discount on the monthly usage fee. Additional discounts are possible through contract discounts or bundling with other products.
