The Free North Korea Movement Federation: "If the wind is favorable around the 25th, leaflets will be distributed anytime"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] The Free North Korea Movement Alliance announced on the 20th, according to Yonhap News, that it plans to resume distributing leaflets to North Korea around the 25th.
According to the report, Park Sang-hak, the head of the Free North Korea Movement Alliance, stated, "We completed preparing one million leaflets to inform the truth to North Korean residents in March, marking the 70th anniversary of the Korean War, and plan to distribute them as scheduled."
Park said, "We are preparing to send them depending on the wind around June 15, and if the wind is favorable, we could send them even tonight."
The Free North Korea Movement Alliance plans to disclose the leaflet distribution after confirming via GPS that the leaflets have fallen in North Korean territory.
Meanwhile, the defector organization 'Keun Saem-i,' operated by Park's younger brother Park Jung-oh, has temporarily suspended its event to send North Korean new rice. This is due to increased tensions in the border area as North Korea has intensified its offensive regarding the leaflets.
