Imsil-gun, "Keeping Infants and Toddlers Cool This Summer"
Support for 56 Air Conditioners at 9 Entire Daycare Centers
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk (Governor Shim Min) has taken proactive administrative measures to help the health of infants and toddlers from the hot summer and heat waves.
According to the county on the 19th, to ensure a comfortable summer for infants and toddlers using daycare centers, the county completed the "Air Conditioner Replacement Support Project" for cooling devices at all 9 daycare centers using its own budget.
In preparation for the expected heat wave and the increasingly early summer heat, the county started the project early to provide infants and toddlers with a cool and comfortable summer, supporting with a subsidy of 40 million KRW and installing a total of 56 air conditioners.
In particular, classrooms with infants and toddlers were mainly supported with "wind-free air conditioners," showing careful consideration to minimize stimulation to the children.
This project was proposed through mutual meetings between the Imsil-gun Women's and Youth Division and daycare center directors for the safe childcare of infants and toddlers in daycare centers.
