Changwon National University Selected as 'Very Excellent' in the 3rd Year Evaluation of the LINC+ Project

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Changwon National University announced on the 19th that it received a "Very Excellent" rating in the 3rd-year annual evaluation of the government-funded project "Leaders in Industry-University Cooperation (LINC+) for Customized Social Needs (Advanced Industry-University Cooperation Type)" organized by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea.
With this "Very Excellent" rating in the annual evaluation, Changwon National University will carry out the project with government support for the next two years from 2020 to 2021. Additionally, as an incentive for the "Very Excellent" rating, the budget was increased by 550 million KRW compared to the previous year.
The Changwon National University LINC+ Project Group has been fostering talents equipped with practical skills, a spirit of challenge, and convergence abilities called "SMART 3C type" under the industry-university cooperation brand "Unicorn Campus," and has been nurturing talents to lead the Fourth Industrial Revolution era through the establishment of interdisciplinary convergence shared double majors.

Lee Ho-young, President of Changwon National University, emphasized, "It is very meaningful that Changwon National University's LINC+ project achieved a 'Very Excellent' result in the annual evaluation," and added, "Based on the excellent achievements over the past three years, in the 4th year of the LINC+ project, the university headquarters will spare no support to operate proactive leading programs that can reflect the demands of professors, students, and industries."
