[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Go Dallyeong] The Ye-Che Culture Center, a cradle of culture, arts, and sports in Muju-gun, is being transformed through remodeling.
On the 19th, Muju-gun announced that it will complete the facility improvement project by December to enhance the quality of life for residents using the Ye-Che Culture Center.
The facility improvement project for the Ye-Che Culture Center, which began in November last year, is remodeling major building facilities such as the swimming pool and multipurpose hall with a budget of 4 billion KRW (800 million KRW from the national government and 3.2 billion KRW from the county government).
Additionally, the plan is to create a safe and comfortable Ye-Che Culture Center by remodeling aging facilities, including repairing old piping, installing filters, and installing air conditioning units.
The county is currently repairing the ceiling and floor of the aging swimming pool to make it more convenient for residents to use, and is expediting the maintenance of the locker rooms and shower rooms. Furthermore, the county has started repairs on the artificial waterfall sculpture at the Bandi Land water playground in the Facilities Office by the 15th of next month.
The aging artificial waterfall at the Bandi Land water playground will be repaired, and sculptures and props will be installed to improve the landscape image and provide a pleasant environment for visitors.
