Samsung SDS Reports Four Suspected COVID-19 Cases
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Four suspected cases of COVID-19 have been reported at Samsung SDS, leading some employees to start working from home.
On the 19th, according to Samsung SDS, four employees working at the Jamsil headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul, underwent COVID-19 testing the previous afternoon and were sent home. These four had visited the same restaurant, which overlapped with the movement path of a confirmed COVID-19 patient who had visited the restaurant, prompting them to get tested.
As the four employees were classified as suspected cases, all Samsung SDS employees working on the 18th floor with them were also sent home as a precautionary measure. These employees began working from home starting that day.
Samsung SDS has instructed the remaining staff to report to work as usual since the COVID-19 test results have not yet been released.
