[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] On the 18th, Pohang City, Gyeongsangbuk-do, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a 460-unit "Happy Housing" complex aimed at stabilizing housing for young people in Ilwol-dong, Nam-gu.
About 70 people attended the ceremony, including Mayor Kang-deok Lee, National Assembly member Byung-wook Kim, Chairman Kyung-sik Jang of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council, Chairman Jae-won Seo of the City Council, Nam-jin Seo, Head of LH Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters, and representatives of residents.
The Ilwol-dong Happy Housing construction project, with a budget of 47.4 billion KRW, will be built on a site area of 18,508㎡, consisting of a total of four buildings, 11 to 13 floors above ground, with 460 units each having an exclusive area of less than 44㎡. Completion is scheduled for the end of December 2021, with move-in targeted around March 2022. In the first half of 2021, units will be sold at a relatively affordable price, approximately 60-80% of the surrounding market price.
