Jeonnam Fire Department Dedicates Efforts to 'Fire Helicopter Rescue Training' for Summer Water Accident Preparedness

The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Ma Jaeyoon) announced on the 18th that it conducted life-saving rescue training using a fire helicopter at Seongyang Reservoir in Gunseo-myeon, Yeongam-gun, over two days starting from the 16th.
This training was promoted to improve rapid and accurate life-saving rescue activities using a fire helicopter and enhance on-site response capabilities in preparation for water accidents that may occur due to water play safety accidents during summer vacation and heavy rains during the monsoon season.
Assuming a drowning victim, the training focused on quickly approaching the person in need within the reservoir by fire helicopter and conducting life-saving rescue activities using water rescue equipment such as hoists and rescue seats by rescue team members.
