One Additional COVID-19 Case Confirmed in a Woman in Her 60s in Eungam 2-dong, Eunpyeong-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that one additional confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) occurred on the 17th.
The 49th confirmed case in Eunpyeong (resident of Eungam 2-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, female, in her 60s) visited the screening clinic at Seoul Paik Hospital located in Jung-gu on the 16th, underwent testing, and was finally confirmed positive around 5:50 PM on the 17th.
The confirmed patient has currently been transferred to the National Medical Center.
An epidemiological investigation is underway for the newly confirmed case, and additional verified information will be disclosed through the Eunpyeong-gu Office website.
