JW Holdings to Supply 150 Million Masks Domestically and Internationally
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] JW Holdings announced on the 18th that it has formed a strategic partnership with mask manufacturer Handah Healthcare to supply KF94-grade health masks to domestic and international markets.
Handah Healthcare has agreed to supply 50 million KF94 masks to JW Holdings from this month until May next year. JW Holdings plans to distribute Handah Healthcare's masks in both domestic and overseas markets.
The "Good Manner Yellow Dust Protection Mask (KF94)" supplied to JW Holdings was registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on the 4th and uses 100% domestically produced MB filters and nonwoven fabric.
JW Holdings' subsidiary JW Life & Health has also agreed to receive 100 million disposable masks with triple filters from Daesung Global by December.
Earlier, JW Life & Health signed a sales contract for 20 million disposable masks with a domestic distributor. Considering the surge in demand for disposable masks due to the heatwave, they plan to supply through various distribution channels such as large supermarkets.

A JW Holdings official stated, "Although the domestic mask market supply has stabilized, the demand for disposable masks is increasing, and the export ratio of health masks has expanded, leading to the signing of a large-scale supply contract. Based on JW Holdings' global and B2B business infrastructure, we will expand mask distribution domestically and internationally."
