Kim Tae-nyeon: "Strict Warning on North Korea's Misconduct... Should Exercise Restraint Unless It's a Catastrophe"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jin-young] Kim Tae-nyeon, the floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, urged restraint, calling North Korea's public disclosure of our government's special envoy dispatch proposal "an unacceptable misconduct in a normal country."
At the policy coordination meeting held at the National Assembly on the morning of the 18th, Floor Leader Kim said, "We strongly warn North Korea's low-level misconduct. If they want to act as a member of the international community, they should not show such behavior."
He criticized, "If (North Korea) does not want a catastrophe, we strongly urge them to exercise self-restraint," and added, "There should be no military provocations that worsen the situation. It is an act of burning the path of dialogue by themselves."
Regarding the demolition of the Kaesong Inter-Korean Joint Liaison Office, he said, "It is no different from blowing up the hearts of our people," and stated, "North Korea should not disappoint our citizens."
