Creating a Safe Learning Environment by Replacing Old Desks and Chairs
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Tae-in] Jeonbuk Bank announced on the 17th that it held the opening ceremony of JB Hope Study Room No. 103 at Baeksan Areumdri Community Child Center located in Baeksan-myeon, Buan-gun the day before.
The opening ceremony was attended by Jeonbuk Bank Deputy CEO Lee Seong-ran, Gunsan Regional Finance Center Director Kim Dong-hyung, and Buan Branch Manager Jo In-seong.
Baeksan Areumdri Community Child Center, which opened in 2008, provides various welfare services including after-school tutoring to elementary and middle school students from low-income families, single-parent families, and grandparent-headed families in the Baeksan-myeon area, a typical rural region.
Jeonbuk Bank newly replaced old desks and chairs so that children can study while maintaining a certain distance from each other.
They also supported lockers and bookshelves for storing personal belongings, creating a safe learning environment from COVID-19, which received great response.
In particular, Jeonbuk Bank Buan Branch promised to continue regular visits and attention to help children from difficult family environments grow up bright and healthy.
