The meeting was held following a luncheon on May 14th after the 'Next-Generation Global Youth Startup Meeting' presided over by the President, where Minister Park and startup CEOs promised to meet again.
At the event, Professor Jeong Jae-seung of KAIST gave a lecture titled "Popularization of AI and the Path for Startups," raising issues about the roles and future of startups. Professor Jeong presented the direction startups should take in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution and post-COVID-19, sharing insights on how to integrate AI into startup business models.
Following this, a 'mini autograph session' with Minister Park and Professor Jeong was held. They signed their books and delivered messages encouraging the success of startup representatives. Dinner was prepared by the food tech startup 'Dallishus,' which was selected for the TIPS program last year. Recently, Dallishus has been gaining attention for its customized service that predicts and analyzes users' food preferences using AI technology. Considering the recent continued spread of COVID-19 in the metropolitan area, the event was conducted in strict compliance with quarantine guidelines.
