Gwanak-gu Hosts 'Nakseong Startup Untact Academy'
Non-face-to-face Education for Residents Pursuing Entrepreneurship Dreams Amid COVID-19... Essential Startup Knowledge Education on Intellectual Property and Finance... Online Lectures via YouTube Live
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) will hold the ‘Nakseong Startup Untact (UNTACT) Academy’ for startup entrepreneurs at the Seoul Startup Cafe Nakseongdae branch.
The ‘Nakseong Startup Untact Academy’ is a program that selects topics of greatest interest to entrepreneurs or those dreaming of starting a business, and provides professional information education and sharing in those fields.
The district announced that due to the continued spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the startup academy will be conducted entirely through online education.
The June education sessions will be held twice for about 2 hours each, focusing on intellectual property rights, accounting, and finance for startups.
On the 18th, from 7 p.m., patent attorney Eom Jeonghan of BLT Patent Law Office will give a lecture titled ‘Intellectual Property Management for Startups as Told by Investors,’ and on the 25th, from 7 p.m., CEO Shim Gyutae of CFO School will conduct a lecture on ‘Accounting and Financial Management for Startups.’
Applications for the education sessions can be made through KakaoTalk Plus Friend (Seoul Startup Cafe Nakseongdae branch) and Google application forms until 4 p.m. on the day of each session. The application links can be found on the Nakseong Venture Startup Center blog and the Seoul Startup Cafe Nakseongdae branch SNS.
For inquiries, contact the Seoul Startup Cafe Nakseongdae branch via email (startupcafe@nvsc.co.kr) or phone.
Meanwhile, the district has been conducting a ‘One-Stop Startup Mentoring Program’ online since May, and starting with the ‘Nakseong Startup Untact Academy,’ plans to also conduct ‘MCN Specialized Education’ and ‘Youth Career and Startup Education’ through non-face-to-face education.
The ‘Seoul Startup Cafe Nakseongdae branch’ is located at Nakseongdae (Gang Gamchan) Station on Seoul Subway Line 2, operated as a hub facility of Nakseong Venture Valley together with the Nakseong Venture Startup Center, providing office space (lounge) and meeting rooms for citizens interested in startups, as well as basic education and networking programs related to startups.
In particular, it offers the Cross Media Studio, a video production facility for MCN and creator-related entrepreneurs who have recently gained attention, and plans to operate related practical training programs.
