Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority Joins 'Thanks to You Challenge' to Overcome COVID-19
President Cha Minsik and Executives Participate in SNS Campaign Relay
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Cha Min-sik, hereinafter referred to as the Authority) participated in the 'Thanks to Challenge' campaign on the 16th to express gratitude and support to medical staff working on the front lines to overcome COVID-19.
This campaign is a nomination-type campaign carried out to convey messages of thanks to medical personnel who are dedicating themselves to overcoming COVID-19 despite the intense heat.
On the day, after the 'COVID-19 Response and Post-COVID Emergency Management System Operation Meeting,' President Cha and about 30 executives and employees posted a photo on the Authority's SNS showing hand gestures expressing respect to the medical staff.
Having been nominated by Busan Port Authority and Ulsan Port Authority to participate in the campaign, the Authority nominated the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority and its subsidiary Yeosu Gwangyang Port Management Co., Ltd. as the next participants to continue the relay.
President Cha said, "I hope this campaign provides strength to the medical staff who are working tirelessly day and night due to COVID-19, and that is why we participated in this campaign. We will continue to contribute to ending the COVID-19 crisis through thorough quarantine and inspection of Yeosu and Gwangyang ports and fulfill our social responsibilities as a public enterprise."
