Gyeongnam Social Service Center Launches Mobile Legal Consultation Service 'Legal Home Doctor'
Protection of Vulnerable Groups Including Basic Livelihood Security Recipients and Provision of Legal Consultations

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Gyeongnam Province announced on the 16th that the Gyeongsangnam-do Social Service Agency is playing a solid role as a reliable legal doctor for residents through the 'Legal Home Doctor Project' for socially vulnerable groups and crime victims.
The Legal Home Doctor is a free legal service provided by the Ministry of Justice, mainly targeting social groups requiring legal protection such as basic livelihood security recipients, multicultural families, and crime victims.
Over the past five months, the Legal Home Doctor Project has conducted over 253 free legal consultations, linked more than 70 cases with support organizations such as the Korea Legal Aid Corporation and the Credit Recovery Committee, and provided on-site legal education at multi-use facilities such as social welfare centers.
The Gyeongnam Social Service Agency has, through the Legal Home Doctor Project, protected and assisted vulnerable groups who suffered damages from housing lease contracts and provided life-oriented legal services such as on-site legal consultations.
Meanwhile, the free legal service Legal Home Doctor office is located within the Gyeongnam Social Service Agency Community Care Center in Buwon-dong, Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam Province, and legal consultation hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
