Pastor's Husband, Daughter, and Son-in-Law at Pyeongan Church in Guro-gu Confirmed... Middle School Granddaughter Under Testing (Update)
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Juhee] Three family members of the 72nd confirmed COVID-19 case in Guro-gu, who is a pastor at Pyeongan Church, have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
According to Guro-gu on the 15th, following the 72nd confirmed case, the cohabiting husband (Guro 73rd), daughter (Guro 74th), and son-in-law (Guro 75th) residing in Gocheok 1-dong were additionally confirmed positive.
The three additional confirmed cases were classified as contacts after the 72nd case tested positive in the morning and underwent specimen testing at the Guro-gu screening clinic.
They tested positive around 6 p.m. and are scheduled to be transferred to an isolation hospital.
Specimen testing is also underway for A, a middle school student who is the daughter of the 74th and 75th confirmed cases.
A had a fever on the 5th and was tested at the Guro-gu screening clinic but was found to be negative.
It was confirmed that A has not attended school since the 3rd due to grade-level classes.
Pyeongan Church has reportedly been closed.
