[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] Yongsan-gu, Seoul announced on the 15th that the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has increased by 2 more patients.
According to Yongsan-gu, patient number 47 is a person in their 70s residing in Hangangno-dong and is a contact of Yongsan patient number 46. Although there were movement routes involving a hospital and a convenience store, the patient, doctor, and nurse all wore masks at the hospital with no contacts identified, and one contact was confirmed at the convenience store. Therefore, the names of the two locations have been kept confidential.

Patient number 48 is also in their 70s and was found to have been infected through contact with patient number 40, who was confirmed positive in connection with Richway. As a result, one family member who was a contact has entered self-quarantine.
