Support of 1 Million Masks for UN Veterans of the 6.25 War
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The 6.25 War 70th Anniversary Project Promotion Committee under the Prime Minister announced on the 15th that the support of 1 million masks for UN veterans of the 6.25 War, which began in May, has been successfully completed.
This mask support was promoted with the purpose of repaying the sacrifices and contributions of the 22 UN participating countries and veterans who are experiencing difficulties due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
Prime Minister Jeong said, "The Republic of Korea government's intention to express gratitude to the UN veterans will not stop," and emphasized, "We will continue solidarity and cooperation through close exchanges with the governments of the participating countries and the descendants of the veterans."
