According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 13th, the cumulative number of confirmed cases was counted as 1,341, the same as the previous day, as of midnight. The number of recovered patients was also the same as the previous day at 1,265 (recovery rate 94.33%).
The number of deaths in the Gyeongbuk region remains at 58. The 18 confirmed patients who have not yet recovered are receiving distributed treatment at Pohang Medical Center (8), Andong Medical Center (5), Dongguk University Gyeongju Hospital (4), and National Medical Center (1).
Earlier, on the 6th, the father of brothers who are students at Daegu Agricultural Meister High School living in Gumi was confirmed positive, and on the 5th, a female teacher in her 20s at Gyeongsan Food Meister High School in Yeongcheon, residing in Gyeongsan, was confirmed positive. On the 4th, one overseas entrant each in Pohang and Yeongcheon was confirmed positive.
Meanwhile, in Daegu, a third-year middle school student in Buk-gu was confirmed as a COVID-19 case on the 12th, increasing the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the region to 6,889. The new confirmed cases in Daegu on this day came after four days since the 8th.
