[Tomorrow's Weather] Rain Nationwide from Weekend Night... Up to 200mm in Southern Regions
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] On Saturday the 13th, strong rain accompanied by gusts of wind at 30 to 50 mm per hour and thunder and lightning is expected in the southern part of Chungcheong Province, the southern regions, and Jeju Island.
The rain, which will start from the night of that day, is expected to spread nationwide. The rain will gradually stop starting from the central region in the morning of the next day and is forecasted to cease in most areas by around 3 PM.
Heavy rain will be concentrated in Jeolla Province, Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island until the morning of the 13th, and from that night until the next morning, rain will be concentrated in the southern part of Chungcheong, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongbuk regions.
Expected rainfall until the 14th is 70 to 150 mm (over 200 mm in some areas) in the southern part of Chungcheong and southern regions, 30 to 80 mm (over 100 mm in some areas) in the northern part of Chungcheong and Jeju Island, and 5 to 30 mm in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, and Gangwon Province. Winds on Jeju Island and the southern coast are forecasted to blow strongly at 8 to 14 m/s.
The morning low temperature on that day is forecasted to be between 17 and 24 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 24 and 31 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels are expected to be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions. However, the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungcheong region are forecasted to experience temporarily 'Unhealthy' levels in the morning.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters. Offshore wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East and West Seas, and 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea.
