View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Despite the difficult local economy due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the donation movement to help neighbors continues in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Noh Hyun-song) received COVID-19 relief goods (such as hand sanitizers) worth 100 million won from Workflow Company (CEO Song Eun-soo) at the mayor's office at 3 p.m. on the 12th.
This donation from Workflow Company is the second, following the delivery of quarantine supplies worth about 10 million won for low-income residents in the area last March. Workflow Company is a cosmetics manufacturer, with its representative product being the natural mosquito repellent Cinnamonio.
Mayor Noh Hyun-song said, "Although everyone is struggling due to COVID-19, the donation movement to overcome the crisis together is blossoming throughout the region," and added, "We thank everyone who first thought of neighbors in need in the community and participated in warm sharing."
Earlier, on the 10th, the Seoul Gangseo-gu Council of the National Unification Advisory Council (Chairman Yoo In-guk) donated 5 million won to be used for overcoming COVID-19.
Also, on the 3rd, Global Vision donated 125 boxes of baby diapers to ease the economic burden of low-income families, conveying warm hearts.

From March this year to the present, the total amount of COVID-19 relief funds and goods donated to the district has reached about 430 million won. This is a 48% increase compared to the total donations collected from March to October last year (about 290 million won).
