Unexploded 6·25 Shell Suspected Found at Construction Site in Jongno-gu, Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] A shell presumed to have been used during the Korean War was discovered at a construction site in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
According to the police on the 12th, at around 3:30 PM that day, a shell was found during a cultural heritage inspection at a construction site in Insadong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The police responded to a report from workers and are currently controlling the site. On the 5th, a shell similar in shape to a U.S. military aerial bomb from the Korean War was also found at this construction site. The shell discovered this time is reported to be similar in shape.
