According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 12th, one middle school student and one high school student were partially positive in tests conducted by a COVID-19 testing agency on the same day.
Both students tested negative in the upper respiratory tract but positive in the lower respiratory tract. The Gwangju City Health and Environment Research Institute collected their specimens and is conducting retests. The results are expected around 4 p.m. that day.

Health authorities are tracking the movement paths of the two students and plan to collect specimens from all students at the respective schools for testing.
