Confirmed Case No. 63 in Yangcheon (Sinwol 5-dong, Woman in Her 50s), Total Cumulative Confirmed Cases Reach 63
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) has reported an additional 63rd confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The newly confirmed 63rd patient, Ms. A, is a woman in her 50s residing in Sinwol 5-dong, who was confirmed to have had contact with a confirmed case related to Gangseo SJ Investment Company.
Ms. A developed symptoms such as a sore throat on the 9th, was tested at the Yangcheon-gu screening clinic on the 10th, and received a final positive diagnosis on the morning of the 11th.
Meanwhile, one cohabitant of Ms. A is currently under investigation.
The district transferred Ms. A to Seonam Hospital, a nationally designated hospital, and immediately completed disinfection around the patient’s residential area after the transfer.
Information regarding the confirmed patient’s movement will be accurately and promptly disclosed through the Yangcheon-gu website and SNS (blog, Instagram) as it becomes available.
With this, the cumulative number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Yangcheon-gu has reached 63.
