31 Instructors Assigned to 28 Schools... 10 Million Won Support Per Person
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] The Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education announced on the 11th that it will distribute an operation manual containing efficient curriculum operation and student learning rights guarantee measures for combined classes where two grades attend together to the relevant schools.
As of June, there are 224 combined classes in the Gyeongbuk area. The Office of Education is developing combined class support instructors, manuals distribution, and teaching materials to provide systematic support for combined classes and strengthen the capabilities of the teachers in charge.
This year, for the first time, 31 instructors will be deployed to 28 schools that requested combined class support instructors. Each instructor receives 10 million won in support. These instructors support combined class lessons for about 14 hours per week. Support hours can be arranged and operated flexibly considering school circumstances, grade composition, and curriculum content.
