Budweiser Selects Singer Henry as New Model... Spreading Passion and Spirit of Challenge
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Global beer brand Budweiser announced on the 11th that it has selected global artist and singer Henry, who is actively working both domestically and internationally, as the model for its new advertising campaign to be launched this summer.
Budweiser stated that Henry’s passionate image, who not only explores various music genres but also challenges himself in multiple fields including music, entertainment, and film, aligns with the brand identity that Budweiser pursues.
Henry is loved as a ‘musical genius’ based on his musical spectrum that spans popular music and classical music. In addition to his skills in songwriting, composing, and playing instruments at a high level, he has expanded his activities to films, dramas, performances, and entertainment shows. Currently, he is appearing on JTBC’s representative music healing program ‘Begin Again Korea,’ offering a stage of comfort and encouragement to people exhausted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kim Ah-young, Budweiser Brand Manager, said, “Henry, who is active across various fields with his unique overflowing energy, is the perfect model for Budweiser, which pursues brand values of freedom, challenge spirit, and passion. We expect that Henry’s positive energy will create a synergy effect when combined with the upcoming summer advertising campaign.”
Henry expressed, “I am pleased to be selected as the new campaign model for Budweiser. I hope that the message of hope and passion that Budweiser conveys during these difficult times will be delivered to many people through me.”
