[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yuseong-hoon, the mayor of Geumcheon-gu, inspected the construction site of the Anyangcheon pedestrian bridge in Doksan 1-dong, Geumcheon-gu, on the morning of the 10th, ahead of the full-scale summer rainy season.
On this day, Mayor Yuseong-hoon checked the installation status of the steel main tower of the bridge, inspected the condition of the bridge's foundation work, and the installation status of the temporary earth-retaining facilities at the main tower section.
He then urged the construction officials, "As the summer rainy season approaches, please pay special attention to safety measures, such as postponing construction in flood-prone river areas."
Meanwhile, the district is carrying out the construction of the 'Anyangcheon pedestrian bridge,' which connects Doksan 1-dong and the branch office area, separated by Anyangcheon, the Seohaean Expressway, and the Gyeongbu railway line. The bridge is 200 meters long and 4.5 to 16 meters wide.
