Kumho Petrochemical Participates in the 'Flower Bucket Challenge'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] Kumho Petrochemical participated in a flower basket delivery campaign on the 10th to overcome the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
On the 10th, Kumho Petrochemical announced that it participated in the flower farm support relay campaign, the 'Flower Bucket Challenge,' delivering flower baskets to 291 partner companies nationwide, including in Yeosu and Ulsan. The flower baskets were prepared with donations made by Kumho Petrochemical to the 'Rural and Fishing Village Win-Win Cooperation Fund,' operated by the Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprises and Agriculture and Fisheries Cooperation.
The company explained that the participation in this campaign was triggered when Hong Hyun-min, CEO of Taekwang Industrial, designated Moon Dong-jun, president of Kumho Petrochemical, a client company, as the next participant in early May.
Moon Dong-jun, president of Kumho Petrochemical, said, "I am pleased to participate in this meaningful activity to support flower farms," and conveyed an encouraging message, "I am confident that we will all overcome adversity and bloom success again." President Moon designated Lim Byung-yeon, head of the Basic Materials Business at Lotte Chemical, as the next participant.
