Shall We Take a Nature Ecology Trip to Eulsukdo? Wetland Experience Event
Busan Nakdong River Management Headquarters to Operate Various Programs at Eulsukdo Migratory Bird Park Starting the 13th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Shall we take a nature ecology trip to Eulsukdo to find out which plants disrupt the wetland ecosystem?
A wetland study and tour experience program will be held from the 13th at Busan Eulsukdo Migratory Bird Park and Nakdong River Estuary Eco Center.
The Nakdong River Management Headquarters of Busan City announced on the 10th that it will hold a wetland experience event from the 13th of this month to the 26th of next month to raise citizens' awareness of the importance of wetlands and to revitalize life tired from COVID-19.
The Nakdong River Estuary Eco Center has held large-scale events involving citizen participation every year to promote the value of wetlands, but this year, due to COVID-19, the experience events will be reduced.
From the 13th of this month to the 26th of next month, wetland experience events, exhibition and experience booths, and the Eulsukdo Nature Ecology Travel Completion Program will be prepared at Eulsukdo Migratory Bird Park and the Nakdong River Estuary Eco Center.
The wetland experience events include the “Tail Silkworm Butterfly Restoration Experience,” where participants can directly take part in the entire restoration process of the tail silkworm butterfly in a non-face-to-face manner, Eulsukdo cultural and ecological exploration, removal of invasive plants disrupting the ecosystem, and Eulsukdo kayak wetland exploration. Participation requires prior reservation on the Nakdong River Estuary Eco Center website and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Exhibition and experience booths for the Nakdong River Estuary wetlands, involving seven local organizations, will also be operated around the Eco Center. Starting from the 1st of next month, the Eulsukdo Nature Ecology Travel Completion will be held, where visitors receive a commemorative gift by collecting certification stamps in an ecology travel passport after visiting various institutions within Eulsukdo Park.
