Choi Tae-won to Present 'Post-Corona' Management Strategy... SK Group to Hold Expanded Management Meeting on 23rd
'Post COVID-19' Management Strategy Expected to Be Presented
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] SK Group CEOs will gather in one place for the '2020 Group Expanded Management Meeting' at the end of this month to review next year's management strategies.
SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won will hold the '2020 Group Expanded Management Meeting' on the 23rd and discuss the theme of 'Post-Corona.' The detailed information such as the meeting venue has not yet been decided.
The SK Group Expanded Management Meeting is the largest-scale management strategy meeting held annually in June. It is considered the most important event as Chairman Chey Tae-won directly participates and presents the agenda.
At the 2016 meeting, Chairman Chey urged the affiliate executives to “approach with the mindset of changing everything to avoid paying a harsh price,” calling for a ‘Deep Change’ (fundamental transformation). In 2017, he emphasized ‘Creating Social Value’ and ‘Shared Infrastructure,’ encouraging the use of various tangible and intangible assets such as business infrastructure and management know-how owned by SK Group affiliates for the growth and development of society, members, and partners.
