[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] As the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Jilin Province, China, has subsided, the COVID-19 risk level across China has been readjusted to 'low risk.'
According to CCTV and others on the 8th, the risk level of Fengman District in Jilin City, Jilin Province, was downgraded from high risk to low risk, and Changyi District and Chuanying District were downgraded from medium risk to low risk. As a result, after 29 days of strengthened control within Jilin Province, the entire region has returned to a low-risk area.
China had adjusted the entire country to a COVID-19 low-risk area on the 7th of last month, but immediately after, cases occurred in Shulan City, Jilin Province, leading to cluster infections.
