Hwasun-gun 'Disaster Livelihood Support Fund' Additional Applications Accepted Until the 12th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 8th that it will accept additional applications for the ‘Hwasun-type Emergency Disaster Livelihood Support Fund’ linked to the Jeollanam-do Emergency Living Expenses until the 12th.
The county decided to accept additional applications to assist those who missed the initial application period, following the policy of Jeollanam-do.
Applications must be submitted in person at the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Centers. Online applications will not be accepted during the additional application period.
Previously, the county accepted applications from April 1st to the 29th of last month.
During this period, 22,668 applications were received, and by the 29th of last month, eligibility was reviewed in four rounds for 22,202 cases. Among them, 11,996 households were deemed eligible and were paid a total of 7.854 billion KRW.
The results for the remaining approximately 460 households are expected to be notified by the 12th.
The county provided the Hwasun-type disaster livelihood support fund in connection with the Jeollanam-do emergency living expense support.
In addition, the county supplemented the Jeollanam-do emergency living expense support fund (300,000 to 500,000 KRW) with its own budget, paying 500,000 KRW to single-person households, 700,000 KRW to 2-3 person households, and 1,000,000 KRW to households of four or more.

A county official said, “Households that missed the application period should submit their applications during the additional application period to avoid any disadvantages. We ask that the Hwasun Love Gift Certificates received as support funds be used by August to help revitalize the local economy, which has been depressed due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.”
