Soongsil University Selected for University ICT Research Center Support Project... Total Support of 6 Billion KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Soongsil University announced on the 8th that its AI Security Research Center has been finally selected for the University ICT Research Center Support Project led by the Ministry of Science and ICT, receiving a total of 6 billion KRW over a maximum of 8 years. The University ICT Research Center Support Project is aimed at nurturing master's and doctoral-level talents to carry out projects in promising core ICT technology fields. The AI Security Research Center plans to cultivate talents equipped with capabilities ranging from building intelligent cyber threat analysis platforms to data engineering and attack detection. Participating in this project are Professor Suh Hwan Jung from the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, Professor Yong Tae Shin from the Department of Computer Science, Professor Jae Jin Lee from the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, and Professor Dong Gun Noh from the Department of Smart Systems Software.
