Invitation to Admission Officers from 32 Major Regional Universities
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] On the 9th, the Gyeongnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 8th that it will hold a college admission conference at the Grand Mercure Ambassador Changwon Hotel, attended by admission officials from 32 major universities, advisory committee members, head teachers, and teachers from the Gyeongnam College Admission Information Center.
The event, themed "Finding a Path with Local Universities for Our Children's Future," aims to share information about the 2021 college admission process and address questions from high school seniors and parents who have had limited activities due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The conference will serve as a communication council that guides changing educational activities and various admission services to prepare for future education through instructional innovation, and collects, analyzes, and records in-depth college admission information such as questions about university admission processes and student record-based screening, as well as precautions when applying.
The information collected from universities at the college admission conference, jointly held by the Gyeongnam Office of Education and local universities, will be compiled and analyzed, and provided as collaborative admission materials for individual schools in the form of the 2021 Gyeongnam Education Briefing University Admission Analysis and university-specific information booklets through the "General High School Vice Principal Training for Student-School Admission Collaboration" scheduled for September.
