[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] Jeonbuk Office of Education will hold training related to the entry of middle and high school life records for the 2020 academic year.
According to the provincial Office of Education on the 8th, the "Training for High School Vice Principals and Staff Related to School Life Records" will be held twice, in the morning and afternoon of the 9th, at the auditorium on the 2nd floor of the provincial Office of Education.
This training aims to strengthen accountability to prevent misconduct related to school life records in advance and to eliminate discrepancies in entries.
The main contents include guidelines for writing and managing school life records, revisions to the entry instructions for school life records, and precautions.
Also, starting this year, according to measures to strengthen fairness in the college admission system, new standards have been established for the detailed subject competency and special notes section of high school records, which have become mandatory, and for the issue of proxy entries (self-written student records) in student records, in line with the purpose of enhancing fairness.
In addition, with the introduction of the Meister High School credit system, the criteria for course completion hours have changed from "units" to "credits."
In particular, as a follow-up measure for blind processing of college admission screening data, the items where school names can be entered have been restricted, and guidelines related to the deletion of school violence measures have been added.
Furthermore, the prohibition of project-type performance assessments, postponement of input for minor school violence cases, clarification of the scope and terminology for autonomous inquiry activities, and detailed guidelines prohibiting entries that may induce private education have been specified.
