Muan-gun Holds the 65th Memorial Day Commemoration Ceremony

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 8th that it held the 65th Memorial Day Ceremony on the morning of the 6th at the Namsan Chung-hon Tower Square in Muan-eup to honor the patriotic martyrs and war veterans.
The ceremony was held with a reduced number of attendees to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to ensure the health and safety of the residents. About 100 people, including Governor Kim San, provincial and county council members, heads of veterans' organizations, and heads of institutions and social organizations, attended and paid tribute to the patriotic martyrs in a solemn and reverent atmosphere.
The ceremony proceeded in the order of a one-minute moment of silence following the nationwide siren, flower offering and incense burning, memorial address, singing of the Memorial Day song, and visits to the police fallen officers' monument, the anti-Japanese independence activists' memorial monument, and the Muan Patriots' Monument for the March 1st Independence Movement.
