Lotte World Ends Operations Early on the 7th Due to Confirmed Case Visit (Comprehensive)

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Jamsil Lotte World in Songpa-gu, Seoul, closed its operations on the 7th due to a visit by a confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Lotte World announced on its website on the same day through a post titled "Lotte World Adventure Today's Early Closure Notice" that "the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed that a COVID-19 confirmed case visited."
It added, "As a measure to ensure the safety of guests and staff, we have decided to close operations," and "We ask for the understanding of our customers."
It is known that Lotte World ended operations early after an announcement around 1:30 PM that day. After closing, Lotte World is investigating the detailed movements of the confirmed case through closed-circuit television (CCTV) and other means.
The confirmed case is a third-year student at Wonmuk High School in Jungnang-gu, Seoul. It was investigated that the confirmed case stayed at Lotte World from 12:13 PM to 9:00 PM on the 5th.
Prior to this, the confirmed case had contact with 150 people at school, prompting authorities to take action. Jungnang-gu announced, "Wonmuk High School will switch all grades to online classes from the 8th to the 10th."
Additionally, "Tests will be conducted on 150 people including classmates, teachers, and close contacts who had contact with the confirmed student," and "The school will send individual text messages to those concerned," it added.
